Seller Getting Ready for an Auction
  • Separate out what you want to sell
  • Eliminate what  won't  sell
  • Have auction dates in mind
  • Call Lampi Auctioneer's to give you an estimate and schedule a date.
  • Clean up each item as much as possible.  (It sells better!)
  • Sort items according to category (antique glassware etc.)
  • Box items (Do not put too much in each box)
  • Auction professionals will make suggestions about how items should be displayed
  • Have fun the day of the sale
 
Buyer Attending an Auction
  • Come early to pre view the merchandise
  • Bring your driver's license to register
  • Register with the clerk to receive a number (This is your bidding number)
  • Look carefully for those hidden treasures
  • Determine what you would like to pay for an item
  • Raise your bidding number up high when you want to bid.
  • If you are not sure where the bid is at, ASK!
  • You may settle your bill any time during the auction.
  • Pay for item before leaving the auction premises
